In this module we get the basics in place. We will connect our site to Google search console, Google analytics, install a SEO plugin, create and submit a site map and make sure our sites is searchable by Google. 

SEO is essentially about keywords. Someone opens Google and types in a few keywords to find websites with the information they need. If they are searching for a topic we are an expert on we want our website to be one of the results. In this section we will look how to choose and rank for keywords related to our business.

Our website will be "crawled" by a google robot. The robot cannot see our website like we see it. It sees only the code. In this section we focus on optimising the techie things that make the robot happy. Don't worry we will keep it simple.

This section is all about the content we have on our website. How it is structured, how it is presented and readable it is. Google ranks content higher when it has the perfect mix of technical structure, subject authority and readability. 

Off-page SEO is where focus on things we can do to drive traffic to our website that are not actually connected directly with our website. This involves creating and optimising your Google My Business Listing, getting backlinks from other sites to yours and being mention and recommended on other platforms.
